Daily Hair Routines- Yours?

Heey(:

Lately, I've been having horrible hair days. My curls fall out and my hair frizz's out. I've been CG for about a month & I have 3b/c hair. The humidity hasn't been signifigantly high, either. Here is what I've been doing lately:
  1. Shower in Morning
  2. Cowash with Suave Natural
  3. Condition with Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition
  4. Comb & Wash Out with Cold Water
  5. Get out of Shower
  6. Make Part
  7. Scrunch in LOTS of HE gel
  8. Go Piece by Piece and Form Curls (with finger and straw)
  9. Blow Dry Pixie-Curl-Method (70% Dry)
**If I see Frizz I put in Deva Curl B' Leave in, More gel, and a little HE Mousee**

See anything I should change? I also don't like the "wet look" and the crunchy feeling! I also touch my hair WAY too much! Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. THANKYOU SO MUCH, and sorry for the length...
I also have [mainly] 3b hair [though the very top front is a 2 idk why] but my method goes as follows.

I shower and cowash [I probably shampoo my hair once a month if that] and I use a ton of conditioner. If I'm going to style my hair I rinse out most of my conditioner if not I leave it all in, let it air dry [my hair comes out more fluffy than id like] and wear it down or in a bun. I use woody's conditioner sometimes because I have a scalp condition and the minty feeling relieves it a bit but most of the time I use pantene for curly hair because it makes my hair feel lovely.

When styling, like I said, I rinse out most or all of my conditioner and squeeze out as much of the water as I can and then air dry. When my hair is completely dry I part my hair and apply flax seed gel all over. Mind you, I use a lot of this gel on my hair [in fact, I overdo it with ALL hair products] but its okay because its natural and it won't harm my hair. I then sit under the dry and let it dry rapidly to reduce frizz and shrinkage. The gel gets very very hair and I know you don't like the hard hair and I don't either because I look like I have a jerry curl so I get oil [I use amla and castor right now] rub it between my hands, hold my hair between my hands and smooth down the length of my hair which futher stretches the shrinkage, shines my hair, and also takes all the crunch out.

You may want to try getting a different product or switching things up a bit. Also, you may want to try just scrunching your hair instead of forming the curls piece by piece -- that is probably adding to your problem of touching your hair too much while it's drying! Try scrunching some of the water out of it with a t-shirt or a microfiber towel and letting it airdry. Also, you will most likely want to leave some conditioner in your hair. That will help cut down on the frizziness!

Yes, i am using the Totally Twisted Gel. Do you suggest any other gels? What do you use?

Also, I will try leaving in conditioner, not forming curls, scrunch in gel, and scrunching the water out.

Thankyou "wavynwild16" and "bleuyteuy"!
-your help & time are soooooooo appreciated(:
You may want to leave in some conditioner in. The conditioner moisturizes curly hair, so leave it in. This is what I would do:

-co-wash with Suave conditioner
-rinse
-apply the same conditioner to my hair (I use a LOT as suggested in the curly girl handbook)
-leave it in
-in cold water, I tilt to my left and cup my hair and scrunch it as the water flows through it (note: I do it for five seconds as I want to leave some conditioner in)
-get out of the shower
-take a cotton T-shirt and scrunch it the same way I do in the shower
-then I take Totally Twisted Mousse and put some on my hair very lightly so as to not disturb my curls, then scrunch it (I do this while I tilt my head to the left)
-do the same step as above but do it while tilting your head to right
-then I'm in natural postion and take some little mousse and scrunch the canopy of my hair with the product

Then...DO NOT TOUCH YOUR HAIR.

I have tried Totally Twisted gel and it was totally terrible for my hair. Leaves build-up in my hair. I figured out, though, that it's the alcohol that causes this fuss in your hair so do not use this gel. Try the mousse as it is very curly girl friendly. It smells wonderful though
