What is a preservative I can add to homade FSG so that it doesnt have to be refrigerated? Is there one that i can find as a regular grocery store like Walmart?

You most likely can't find this in the grocery store, but my favorite FSG preservative is grapefruit seed extract. It's an awesome preservative -- I can leave my gel out on my dresser for weeks, and it won't spoil. Also, LOTS of people don't like using a preservative (and don't find they need one) because they freeze their FSG in single portions and just defrost it when they have to use it again. That way, you don't need to add anything extra to your gel.
I haven't tried any other preservatives because I've never found the need to, so I hope someone else chimes in on this thread!

EO's are GREAT for getting rid of that awful raw flax seed smell, but they are just mildly preserving -- you'll want to use another preservative in conjunction with it.
