Default Trying really hard to resist!

I've had such an urge to straighten lately... just because I feel like having it straight would let me see how healthy & long it is now. It doesn't feel like it's getting longer, because as it's growing out it seems to be getting curlier so it's hovering around the same length... with up to about 50% shrinkage now...

How do I resist the urge? I don't feel like it's worth it to straighten, I sure as heck don't want to cause any permanent damage to my hair -- I've put it through enough already.

Here's some comparison pics, just for fun...

Straightened, about a year ago... (yuck @ my scraggly thin ends!)

And now, curly...

*Sigh*...

aw, thanks...

When I stretch it out, it's between APL & BSL. I'm hoping I'll get over the temptation once it's around APL curly.. but it's looking like it's gonna take a while.

I may just have to put it in braids, or rollers, so I don't go into that dark evil little corner of my bathroom drawer that my iron's been sitting in for almost a year... heh.
