curl junkie styling creams
Hi, does anyone know how these stylers are? Which one should I try? I have a lot of 3b hair & am looking for hold, but no crunch. Do these need a gel over them? I do not mind a weighed-down looser curl, as I have plenty of volume & do not want anymore. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks & happy new year!!

I use both of them and, for me, they work great. I prefer the Coffee Cocoa one as it seems to provide better clumping for me but both provide a little hold without any crunch.

Thanks Michelle! Is Curlmart the only place to buy them? |

Thanks so much! I just have to see if they'll charge me tax since I'm in the same state as them. I realized that when I order from Curlmart, I get it within two days, so it might be worth it for me to order from them & save the tax!! Thanks for the info. |
I order from Curl Mart but I live in a very rural area so I can't buy anything locally! My hairdresser did ask my about what I was using and asked specifically about the Curl Junkie products so maybe she'll decide to carry them. So far, I've liked everything I've tried from CJ.
Good luck, Michelle |

I would say they both have light hold....the Guava seems to give me more seperation and good definition while the Coffee Cocoa one seems to give me bigger clumps and maybe somewhat bigger curls. If you want spirals I think the Guava may be better but I like the clumpier look that I get from the Coffee Cocoa version better on my hair. Neither one is crunchy on my hair but I almost always use leave in conditioner underneath.
