how to make my boyfriend understand...
I'm having some trouble making my boyfriend understand that my hair routine isn't silly and obsessive. See, he has perfect curls. No matter what he does to them. He washes with sulphates twice a day, runs a pea size amount of conditioner through his hair, rubs his hair vigorously with a towel to dry, and ends up with enviable hair. Me on the other hand, I need a whole lot more work to make my hair look halfway decent. And he just doesn't get it - to the point where we jokingly argue (and i know it's all in fun, but still, I know he means what he's saying) about how involved my routine is. And really it's not... conditioner, honey rinse, gel, clips, wait for it to dry, then scrunch out the crunch.
This is sounding more like a vent, but is there anything I could say to make him understand that it's just what I have to do to have good hair. He's trying to peddle his method onto me, and I just know it's not going to work -sulphates TWICE a day??? pea size amount of conditioner?? It's a recipe for a hair nightmare! But he just doesn't seem to get that!
