THe Phantom of the opera
Who else thinks that Emmy Rossum's hair in the 2004 Phantom of the Opera was beautiful? I wish MY hair looked like that! (yes, i am aware that she was probably being followed around by a dedicated hair stylist who fixed her hair for her evry 30 seconds) Also, who thinks Gerard Butler makes a hot Erik (the Phantom)?

I drool when I watch that movie and see her hair.....my only consolation is that it probably took hours to do. She's so gorgeous, though. She was only sixteen during the filming of that movie!

Actually, I think that's just what her hair looks like. Look through most pictures of her:

I'm jealous.

No, there's no way her hair curls naturally like THAT. It might be naturally curly, but with THOSE pics, I smell a curling iron. Her color is great, though.

Re: THe Phantom of the opera
I thought so! Every time I see one of your posts, I can't help but hear "Can it be? Can it be Christine? Bravo!" etc! I saw Phantom on B'way in November with Howard McGillin....what an amazing voice. They should have cast him in the movie, except he's about fifty and there would have been issues with him kissing a sixteen-year-old....

Re: THe Phantom of the opera
I haven't seen Howard! I need to some day. I have his solo album too...you're right, AMAZING VOICE! He has the record for playing the Phantom the most amount of times...he was there for a while and then left and is back now!
I saw Hugh Panaro the last time I went...has a crazy incredible voice too! He's a thin, short guy and then opens his mouth and it's like " where is that coming from"
The Broadway board I read suggested Josh Groban for the Phantom...interesting idea!

Re: THe Phantom of the opera
Hmmm....he's got the voice, but I see him as more of a Raoul....what Broadway board is this, by the way?
Is Howard's solo CD good?

Re: THe Phantom of the opera
Yeah, he's too young to play the Phantom just yet...I'd love it if he ever recorded "Music of the Night" though!
Howard's CD is really good! The sticker on it says, "Broadway's Record-Setting Phantom!"
The Broadway board is www.broadwayworld.com. I read, but don't post. I work for a Broadway company, so it's okay if I leave it on my computer all day because I, you know, have to keep up-to-date on the latest news, of course

Christine curls
Please post a pic! I need a pic so I can be jealous of a real person, not a Hollywood actress.
