Default holiday card and new pics up-should i get more layers?

hi--happy new year to you all. I have put our holiday card on a new fotki album with some new pics. the holiday card is a top fold card in 3 parts, the front, inner 2 pages and back. the pics show my hair at 10 months post-cut. I am thinking i should get it more layered at my next deva cut, but make sure that it is long enough at shortest point that i can get it all in a ponytail with no hair out of the scrunchie. Ana from devachan is my hair idol-there is a pic of her in my deva album from 2006. I don't want bangs for sure. or should i just try for one length to make it look thicker? the rear views show how thin it looks. hope u all are geared up for a wonderful positive 2007!!
I feel very connected with all of you even tho we have never met. thanks again for all your wisdom..

I don't know banjo I might just get the ends trimmed so they're not so thin. Your hair looks great already.
I'm sure your hair would look nice no matter what you do but I just love that you can have it without layers and it looks thick and curly still.
I like the volume my layers give me but it makes the bottom layer look thinner and it's harder to keep all my hair together if I pin it up.
I love that volumax in your hair! Your hair is all shiny in those pics! Lovely pics of your dogs too!

Happy New Year! I'm inclined to agree with medusahair -- your hair is so lovely as it is, I think I'd just trim up the ends a bit rather than add layering. Although, since you are able to go to Devachan, I'm sure if you wanted some layers, Ana would add them quite skillfully and wouldn't overdo. I just happen to think your hair is perfect as it is! How cool that you can go so long between cuts Oh, and I love the pics in your holiday card, what sweet doggies!

whatever they have been doing at Devachan in the past seems to really be working well for you. Your hair looks great.

Are there no layers in it now? Do they do "layer" cuts at Devachan since they do the curl-by-curl cutting technique?

Great holiday card!! Thanks for sharing Awesome pictures.

As for your hair, since Ana has experience with it, you might ask her what she would think. I think your hair is perfect!

I think your hair looks very healthy and pretty! I agree that I would just have the Deva stylist trim the ends.

I just had that done by Kiyoko since I only go there every 6 months. It made a big difference.

Maybe you could ask Ana what she recommends as far as adding layers or not. You're so lucky that you don't get triangle head as I would if I didn't have long layers!

As usual, banjo, you and your hair look fabulous. I always love looking at the wonderful pics of you and hubby and your dogs and hiking and playing music. You are my idol for living life as it should be lived!!

thank you all for your compliments! actually I see Carlos at devachan, Ana is my hair IDOL, but she has not cut my hair yet. when i use gel my hair does hold curl better-i noticed a big difference with the volumax as opposed to the devacare alone. i will ask him what he thinks. there are some layers in it now, but not real face framing layers which i had not wanted. when i hike i like to put it up and have all of it off my face, so my first preference is to have minimal layers but i have not been thrilled with it lately. thanks again!!

That's right! I should have known that--the pictures w/Carlos, etc...sorry about that...Ana is a great idol to have -- your hair almost looks identical to hers!
