Curls Spiral Curls Cream

Can you tell I am a litte upset?

I am so pissed right now! I FINALLY thought I found one of two dream products (the other is the Goddess Glaze which I use alone) in the Spiral Curls Cream and they go and change the ingredients? So I guess it's not CG friendly anymore. And it's not even that I am on CG, I just like the idea of being able to rinse out my product with water and to know I am using something good on my hair.

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the Goddess Glaze and if they touch that I am done with Curls products.

OK, so someone suggested AG RE:coil as a substitute for the Spiral Curls Cream which I will try when I am done with my bottle of SCC, just in case, does anyone have a sub for the Goddess Glaze? I love it because it gives nice soft hold, great shine and curl definition and NO crunch, plus it does not weigh my hair down. I didn't really like Curl Keeper too much (too expensive and I had to use a ton) and never had such good luck with Jessicurl, so if anyone has another suggestion, I would appreciate it.

What a crock, if I didn't love the GG so much I would cancel my latest order...

Oh, and I tried Re:coil last night and my hair looks nothing like it does with spiral cream I'm going to give it another go though. Hoping I was just having a bad hair day! You make me want to try goddess glaze! But i'm too pissed off to order from them again!
2c, 3a and 3b combined. I think anyway
Love Activate poo, Jessicurl too shea and aloeba as a leave in, Curls spiral cream(old version) and milkshake!!
I think the Kiss My Face Upper Management Hair Gel is quite a bit like the Goddess Glaze. It is stickier when you initially apply it but dries with no crunch or odor. A light hold with shine. It has a citrus smell in the bottle.
3a Colored, Layered
Currently loving:
Cond: CJ Strengthing, Marie Dean, CJ Curl Rehab
Leave -In: Marie Dean Red Clover, Coconut Lime Detangler and just about the entire line, CJ Rehab
Gelly: UFDCM, Paul Brown Geletine Goo
Towel - HG - Curls Like Us

Always use the "Icequeen" method for products
Thanks for the support curlies! Yes, I DO hope someone from Curls reads this thread - we are a very LOYAL bunch when we find something that works.

I got a gift card for Christmas and I ordered the Re:Coil from Curlmart today to give it a try. I will look for the Kiss My Face stuff too. Thanks for the suggestions.

BIG SIGH! This is so frustrating and I know if I don't have backups I will have a wedding or something to go to and that's when the last of my Curls stuff will run out.
HG's:
Gel: BRHG mixed with Aura Naturalle Gel or B&A Gel
LI: GVP Conditioning Balm or Giovanni Smooth as Silk,
Organic Virgin Coconut Oil (as a DC, before and after dying grays, and like a serum on dry hair)

Method: Air dry 20 minutes, then blow dry for volume.

2b/c mix waves/curls - coarse, frizz prone, med. thick, porous, at-home color for gray, protein sensitive but I still need it sometimes, glycerin-sensitive (I think) in high humidity, mod-CG routine.
Oh, and I tried Re:coil last night and my hair looks nothing like it does with spiral cream I'm going to give it another go though.

I like it over CK even more. Once I started using the comb, it made my results with re:coil much better/more consistant.
This is kinda a repost of what I put on the product review board, but it's my lil' 2 cents worth on the Curls stuff .

I use the Quenched Moisturizer, Souffle, Curly Q Custard, Goddess Glaze, NECL (still have 2 bottles) and the (old) SCC. I had tried SCC when it was new and didn't like it. I ordered samples from Sista's Place of the Milkshake, Curly Q Milkshake, Elixir and thought I'd try the SCC again.

Milkshake, either one, doesn't do alot for me. The Elixir is too much for my hair unless I just use some at night to moisturize. I loved the SCC and decided to get a full bottle. I wrote Curls the week before to ask when the SCC would be in stock. They said it should be in before the weekend. It never showed on the site and when I wrote back in mid-December or so, got a reply that it had been stocked and sold out and they'd have more at the end of December. I had been checking back fairly often and never did see it offered again, so I'm kinda wondering how true that was. A kind curly let me know I could get it off Curlicious but I saw in a thread where Curls was stocked again, so I got it from there.

The sample I'd gotten from SP was the old formula and old scent which I loved. I knew something was different with the scent of the SCC I'd gotten from Curls. It never dawned on me to check the site for an ingredient change because of the sample and not seeing anything on here about the change up. Nor, in the emails from them did they make sure I knew they'd changed the ingredients and scent (I'm a repeat customer).

I loved the NECL, now it's gone. Loved the old SCC, now it's gone and I don't like the new scent because I don't like the Ecstasy smell. So, because of the constant change-up in ingredients and lack of choice of scents, I'm going to use the rest of the Curls stuff I like and that'll be it for Curls. I'll sure miss the scents I liked because they do smell awesome.

I've got about 3/4th of a SCC bottle that I'm not using. I didn't bring it with me so when I go back to the other side of the pond I'll have to check and see which version it is. I just know it smells like watermelon candy. Hopefully someone here would like it because it does nothing for my hair.

I haven't been to the hair boards in months so I had no idea that they changed the formula for SCC. I'm really bummed about this. I had given up on Curls - none of their products ever worked for me. I ended up getting two free bottles of SCC from a friend (she works for a fashion magazine and got them for free), and I've been using it exclusively for several months. I was really looking forward to buying it after I ran out, but it looks like a completely different product now. Has anyone tried it yet?
Eres o te haces?
Can anyone tell me, does the Curls Whipped Cream have cones? I am getting nervous now because I use this stuff religiously and I only CO wash. TIA!
3B, with oodles and oodles of curly hair!
Summer Faves: Devacare NoPoo & OneC, CF High Humidity Gel.
2nd day hair: Deva Set Me Up pomade & Mr. Right
DT: Devacurl Heaven in Hair
Been CG since 2005 and never looked back!

Plus there's a cone in if it you're totally CG. I loved the old scent and ended up selling mine on the Swap Board because of that.
