Fallen off the CG Wagon
Well, yesterday I quit the CG routine. I used suave biobasics shampoo and co and used pantene serum beofre using my LA Looks gel, and I did the same again today. I just couldn't take CG anymore, my hair and scalp never looked or felt clean. So I'm back to using sulfates and silicones. We'll see how this turns out! ~~jax

Don't feel bad. I did the same thing. I tried CG for a few months in the summer and I just felt like my hair looked and frankly, smelled, dirty.

Everyone's hair is different ,and nobody should feel obligated to follow any particular routine if it doesn't work best for them.

It's all about you! Do what ever works for you and your hair and don't feel bad about it or feel obligated to do it. I hope everything works out for your curls' happiness!

Well at least if you use sulfates you can use more diverse and often cheaper products.
Like all things , it works for some , not for others. If everything worked for every person there wouldn't be so many different products, diet plans, ways of life etc etc
Take a pic we wanna see!

hockeymom if you google simethicone water soluble on google it was the second or third page I saw it's water soluble.
They put it in medicine too I saw. Usually I see hair ingredients in things like hand lotion not tummy meds.

Here's what I found on Simethicone: "Simethicone is a water soluble form used in antacids and other drugs to break up gas in the stomach." It's an anti-foaming agent, so it makes sense for it to be in a conditioner.

oooooh that's right antifoaming, I did read that. Oh oh ohhhhhh dude I have trouble with foam in my hair, suds rather, wonder if that would help.
NO wait it doesn't take it out just doesn't add any foaming maybe. Darn back to the drawing board.

You could try that Aussie 3MM. Simethicone does actually reduce foaming. It's supposed to work by combining lots of small bubbles (foam) into less larger ones. Worth a shot.

Dang it I wish I had gotten this while I was out! Now I have to wait at least a few DAYS!
Dang it dang it! Thanks for the input, I'm giving in and getting it as soon as I can get back into town. Woohoo I'd love to put gel in my hair and not see a sea of foam squish to the top argh!
