Going for my First CURLY CUT in 2 hours!!!! Tips????

Hi Everyone... I'm headed to my First CURLY CUT by a stylist I found on the DEVA website... I haven't found any reviews and Im hoping to be able to provide one.

I'mjust as nervous as if I would have gone to one that had a Hundred reviews. I'm very picky and up until 3 months ago I have pulled and straightened my hair for the past 30 years! or it was up in a super tight ponytail as a Teen.

I am really hoping that this cut make a difference in my hair.

I am currently using all DevaCurl Products... I have 3A 3B hair from what I see. I have some samples of Mixed chicks but figured I would get a cut first before I start using other products.

I have always gotten my curly hair cut WET and then straightened it... I have even gotten my STRAIGHT hair cut dry... but never a Curly Haircut let alone dry.

The Stylist name is Dore and she is in the Allendale Hair Studios Salon. There are no reviews here but there are plenty on the web for her in general.

Wish me Luck

Any tips or pointers.

I need my curls shaped and I do NOT want length taken off. Cross your fingers
You must be so excited! Good luck, and I hope you get an awesome cut! Be sure to post pics when you get back!

Cool! Let us know how it turns out. I've been getting only Deva cuts for about 5 years now (by three different stylists) and they've always been great!
3B, with some 3C
Let us know how it comes out! And don't forget to add a salon/stylist review!

You are beautiful!
I cancelled my appointment...

I chickened out and I decided to try mixed chicks instead and Im happy with the results of a new product rather than a Haircut that i regret!

I will wait until my hair is a bit longer.

OMG! You're close to Allendale? I'm in Ramsey! I go to Joyce in Ridgewood at Glamour Too Beauty Supply. She's AWESOME - I HIGHLY recommend her. So, if you change your mind, just tell her Janet Wilson recommended you go to her. ...She WON'T take off length if you don't want her to, BTW. As long as you tell her that, she's good with it.
