I thought it was a really nice conditioner, but I couldn't get over how strong the scent was! Even after washing twice with a clarifying shampoo, the smell wouldn't go away. It's a nice smell but I am sensitive to heavy perfumey scents and I had to stop using it

Ah! Hate strong smells. There is this knock off Redkin from suave and my sister loves it but I just can't stand the smell.

I used to use that all the time (when I was straightening) and I loved it! The Curl Enhancing Gel is pretty good, too.

I know the product you mean and I can't even bring myself to use it because of the awful smell. What were they thinking of???

I sniffed it from the bottle & didn't think it was bad. It's really strong out of the bottle/on your hair though? What does it remind you of?

UPDATE: Well I bought a bottle today to give it a try. I still think it smells good, in the bottle. I'll let you know if I change my mind once I try it.

Liz, what do you think of this condish?

Well I've been using it and I think its a pretty good condish. (I used it before, years ago but forgot about it) It's thick and moisturizing and gives descent slip. I will admit the scent is a bit strong at first but I think I've gotten used to it. And the scent lingers, even like the next day, or after the next wash; but it isn't too strong and I kinda like it. It's like perfume. Also, its safe for color treated hair.

Here are the ingredients if anyone's curious.

water, cetearyl alcohol, fragrance, behentrimonium chloride, PEG-180, amodimethicone, panthenol, tocopheryl acetate, phytantriol, silk amino acids, keratin amino acids, hibiscus flower extract, chamomile extract, rosemary extract, sunflower extract, hydroxipropyltrimonium hydrolyzed wheat protein, cetyl esters, behetrimonium methosulfate, centrimonium chloride, trideceth-12, methylchlorosiothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, methylparaben, propylene glycol.

*Does anyone know if the amodimethicone would be water soluble since there is a PEG right before it?
thanks

I haven't used it yet.

I don't think the amodimethicone is water-soluble. The PEG looks separate from that, with a comma. I believe I read it's easily removed with cocomidopropyl betaine.

Not yet? I bet it's turn just hasn't come up yet, huh?
Thanks for the reply.

You got it right! I counted 5 bottles under the sink & 2 in the shower. I promise when the 2 in the shower run out, I'll put the So Sexy (& new Aussie Moist) in there!

I tried it last night since the conditioner that came in line before it wasn't working out (Mer de Beaute).

So far I absolutely LOVE this conditioner! It has great slip, detangling, clumping & softness properties! And its scent is divine!

I can't say the clumping will last though because my hair falls during the day.

ETA: Also, I used maybe half a cupped palm full (1 tablespoon?) of the So Sexy compared to two flat hand fulls (1/2 cup?) of the Mer de Beaute!
