Yes! The only thing that bothers me is that the gel does contain glycerin I'm not sure as to how much though

I made a thread about this down in the 4a section...
someone posted it has glycerin, but SM stated it's not enough to affect you hair when there are low dew points....
but we'll see once more reviews come out...

I asked on their Facebook page if Walgreens will be carrying it. They said Target will have it first, but hopefully Walgreens will get it later. None of the Target stores near me sell their products.

Thanks for the heads up! I will definitely be trying. Does anyone have the list of ingredients?

Hey, I got an email about this coming out on the 28th, but I saw it in my Target yesterday. I saw glycerin listed and decided against it. But, if it doesn't affect things much in the lower dews...I'm sorta tempted.

Will someone please post a review once you've given it a test drive? So curious...

I'm definitely looking forward to trying it, but will probably have to wait until it comes to Walgreens since the Targets here don't carry any Shea Moisture products here.

Hi hair sister!! I just tried 2 other Shea moisture products today -- great results!! Now I have to find this gel. I hope it's got a nice hard hold.
Btw, have you tried the curl enhancing smoothie? Nice clumps and shine. Applied as my leave in and layered my beloved LALSG over it. Nothing else and really good results. My neighbor even noticed!!

I read somewhere that glycerin is very low on list of ingredients and Shea moisture said the amount of glycerin should not affect your hair.

We had a thread about this on the 2's board! This is really exciting -- even for me, and I don't use Shea Moisture, but I've heard so many wonderful things about them! I am *DIEING* to try the smoothie or milk for my dry hair, but the gel sounds amazing, too! Does anyone know what kind of hold it's supposed to have? Oh, and Itsiliii, what kind of deal is Walgreens having on the SM products? I LOVE hair product sales... they make buying the products so much more fun! I think the price is what keeps me from buying them -- I am a cheap sort of PJ! (Not really, I just like HEARING about the products and wishing I had them. )

LOL no shame in admitting youre a product junkie! I totally am
Btw glycerin isnt THAT low down the list, its about 4 or 5th x.x which isnt THAT low

Oh, sweet!! Thank you!! I just may have to go get some! I have heard so many awesome things about the Moisture Retention shampoo that I so want to try it! I am fragrance-sensitive, though.

@wavyandwild16 i definitely reccomend the moisture retention shampoo its really gentle and lathery :3 i dont think it contains any artificial fragrances..it smells really buttery XD
@cuban-curl-e i know right! a couple women have bought it already too but there hasnt been ONE word on how it performs, i think if the gel has a light hold i may not purchase, i like my gels to dry with some crunch- i find that it holds my curls and waves better that way once i scrunch it out!
