What's the difference between a leave-in conditioner and a regular conditioner? Thanks!
Leave in conditioner is meant to be left in for longer periods of time. Regular conditioner is made to be rinsed out while you are still in the shower. Regular conditioner can dry your hair out if it is used as a leave-in, I believe.

The only difference I could possibly see is that a leave-in might be lighter than a rinse-out conditioner so it won't weigh your hair down. Or more detangling, maybe. I use volumizing rinse-out conditioners anyway, so they wouldn't weigh my hair down if I used them as a leave-in anyway.

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.

No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.

My RO and LI are one and the same, too, (And yes, it's also sometimes my cowash) although I do have a variety of conditioners on hand just because I find that for my hair there's some benefit in switching things up from time to time. Basically, you'll to see what works for your hair and just do that of course.

I change mine also, but generally because of the condition of my hair at the time, and the weather.
