Question FSG on dry hair -- Anyone do this?

I really like the results I'm getting with fsg when I apply it to sopping wet hair. Does anyone apply it to dry hair (to perhaps improve their 2nd day hair or trouble shoot frizz or something)? Yeah, of course I could always just experiment, but if someone has already tried it and knows from experience that applying fsg to dry hair is just dead wrong, I'll save myself the trouble. TIA.

I know lots of people on the 2's board who love scrunching FSG into dry, 2nd day hair! It's a pretty popular technique. I've never tried it myself (I hate scrunching anything into dry hair ), but I hear it's great for frizz and reforming misshapen curls. Good luck with it! FSG is awesome stuff.

Thanks! I'll toddle on over to the 2 forums and see what I can find there. It's funny, I'm 3b, but one of my favorite tips I found on the 4a board, and now I'm looking for good stuff over with the 2s. There always seems to be a curly somewhere out there who's already got it all worked it out.

LOL! It's too true. I used to only browse the General Board. Then I realized there was a wavies board, so I checked that out, too. Now I'm into the 4a forum, because my hair is probably just as dry as their curlier hair! They have awesome natural tips for moisture and all this other cool stuff. Now I'm just thinking I should check ALL the boards out, LOL! The 2's board has actually taught me SO much. They are really fun and supportive and know SO much.

You are right, it seems like there are no real new discoveries on here, ha ha! Someone has always thought of it before. Which is good, because trial and error isn't always fun.

Yes, I use FSG on dry 2nd or 3rd day hair. I find it has great slip on dry hair.

(I know we're talking about dry hair, but) Do you actually wet your hair down first and then apply fsg?

I scrunched FSG into dry 2nd day hair for months (maybe a year). Adding water to 2nd day hair tends to destroy my clumps, but FSG doesn't. Lately I've been scrunching conditioner in to revive 2nd day hair.

Ok, so then you don't/didn't wet your hair at all before applying fsg to 2nd day (or later) hair?
