Question about DD hair---breakage
My DD is 6...she has long hair that is pretty thin and has been having problems with breakage around the front/top and sides of her face (her hair is straight but I figured Id ask here anyway)...back is fine
she only wears it in a ponytail 1x a week for ballet (and we put it up with a gentle elastic...not metal etc)
Usually she leaves it down, puts a small clip in the front so it doesnt hang in her face for school (no teeth in it...just one of those 1 piece snappy kinds) or she wears a cloth covered headband. She alternates what she has in her hair but it doesnt seem to matter....still gets breakage. I can't braid it b/c the parts in the front are all too short now :/
Any ideas what I can use on it to strengthen and prevent breakage? Her nutrition is good so its not happening b/c she eats poorly. I have to figure out something b/c its really bothering the both of us (she ends up looking like Bill the Cat LOL)
