Default Are there Styling products w/o humectants? A

Ok, this whole dew point /humectants vs. no humectants thing is driving me nuts!!!! I live in North Jersey where it is almost always humid....even in the fall/winter/spring. Now I've read that humectants should be avoided on high dew days (which for me is almost every day!) All my gels/styling products have either Panthenol or glycerine in them (which I read are both humectants in the Curly Girl book) Ugh, what do I use? Now I know why my hair always looks like a ** when it's humid....no matter what I use!! Please help!!!! I'm a 3c with tight curls
