It has seemed to be steadily increasing over the past few months...at least to me.....

Isn't that the truth? I swear, you'd think people could find better use of their time other than sitting around posting on a hair board for goodness sakes !

It has increased though .

Apparently Gretchen closed the non-hair recipe board, which was not much used by NCers but was getting a lot of spam, and the spammers all migrated over here.

I wonder if there is a way in the signing up process that could stop SPAM'ers?

Usually the spammers are automated programs. Having to do the "yahoo" guess what the heck these letters and numbers are and type it in thing will weed most of those out.

I swear the spammers have gotten just incredible here. I hope there's a way to add something to help this out. I know they're working on figuring out what to do.

Maybe we should bring back the food/recipe forum just so they have some place to gather without annoying the heck out of us. We can call it the recipe forum for dummies (aka spammers).

Hey, I've got an idea. Let's have a spam forum, and they can go spam each other to their heart's content. And we will just ignore them.
