Mousse & CG Routine

Hi all! I recently purchased miniature Jessicurl Too Shea, HCC, and Recoil (I believe that's what it's called). I am 99.99% sure I love the Too Shea and the HCC but not the styling product so much. Today I used the HCC and the Too Shea and then Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam and was actually able to wear my hair down! Yippee!! BUT, I want to commit to this CG routine and I don't think Paul Mitchell mousse is CG. Or is it? Is the Joico? I've read a lot of threads about the Joico. I really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

PS - I have mostly 3B hair with layers. The top layer is waaaaay curlier than the rest and my layers SO DO NOT BLEND!

I've used the Suave knockoff of PM Sculpting Foam and I have the old Joico Ice Whip - I believe both are CG.

Re:coil is great but you have to use a very small amount and then work up to the right amount for you. It also helps to put it in soaking wet hair and I do what SuZen does - comb through with a wide-tooth comb and then scrunch.

I use it under Jessicurl's CCSS, Joico, and these last two days under Herbal Essence Totally Twisted Gel.

Just work with it before giving up on it

Thanks for the warm welcome! Now that I'm home, I looked to see what the other product was and it's NOT Recoil - (I don't even know what that is.) What I used was Rockin' Ringlets Styling Potion. Anyway, it didn't work very well but, like I said, I really do want to try this CG routine. But it sounds so complicated! That's why I tried 100% Jessicurl products (it took all the guesswork out). And I've never seen most of the products that are talked about on here (although I do look for them). If Paul Mitchell is CG friendly, maybe I'll just stick with the HCC, Too Shea, and Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam for another couple days. Any day I can wear my hair down is a bonus.

CG isn't really all that complicated. You do have to pay attention to ingredients, though.

Jessicurl's styling products are unique and take a bit of figuring out. They don't work for everyone. I love Gelebration as a curl enhance, but I use another styler over it. You can try that with RR too.
