Are shampoos with silicones just as bad?

If a shampoo has silicones, does it matter? Even if you're using a conditioner with silicones as well?
I like work. It fascinates me. I sit and look at it for hours.
This isn't scientific but based on my own findings. I cant use silicones in conditioners or stylers as I get very bad buildup. But I can use a shampoo with a water soluble silicone and I find it helps spread the shampoo more easily, with no buildup. But I cant use a shampoo with protein.

cleanse: OS shampoo. PureNuffStuff cleanser.
condition: Aussie 3MM. Jessicurl Aloeba.
style: B2Basics GreenTeaGel. T&G Curl Balm. JCarter Nourish&Shine.

demethicone which is in a lot of shampoos at my local stores coats my hair so the conditioner just sits on top of it looking like an oil slick. I can take cones in stylers but not in my shampoo

If it smells good put it in your hair, if it tastes good spit it out!
