Using Products on Soaking Wet Hair

Does this method keep hair from getting frizzy and from looking dry and dull? I usually blot my hair with a paper towel and then put the product on damp hair. Unfortunately, it looks dry and frizzy and gets worse as the day goes on!

Does this method work with all gels and creams or just Deva Products?
Putting products on wet hair is a favorite method of many, including me. (whoa major alliteration ) This method works with all types of products not just Deva, and definitley helps alot in the frizz and clumping departments.

I apply my product to dripping wet hair, and it definitely helps with frizz, clumping, and definition.

I do it, no matter which product I'm using. I get much more definition and less frizz this way.

I do it with all products as well.. It definetly controls frizz and honestly I feel like I use less products because it spreads a little easier through my hair!

After you put the product on soaking wet hair do you use a paper towel to dry it a bit? I was told to do that at Devachan and then apply more product again.

I also use a microfiber towel to scrunch out the water and I also do not apply anymore product.

Yes, I apply all my products to soaking wet hair (moments after I turn the water off), upside down. I feel it helps with reducing frizz, encouraging curl/definition, and more even distribution. After I do that, I scrunch with my microfiber towel so that its not dripping down my back. Then I either airdry or if I ABSOLUTELY have to, I diffuse.

ETA: Afterwards I am completely done. I don't go back and add more product or anything like that. That would be too much work for me

Personally, I apply products to soaking, but not dripping, wet hair. After rinsing out my condish I give it a scrunch or two before applying product. I've done it both ways and didn't notice any difference in the results- and I can't help shake the feeling that I'm losing more product when applied to dripping hair. Anyway, after I smooth on the product I flip upside down and scrunch a bit with my curlease towel. Then either clip my roots or plop...

I squeeze water from my hair first -- which still leaves it plenty wet. But I notice a huge difference in frizz control. It seals the hair with moisture & styler before it can start to dry. If you wait until after you've towel dried, it's usually way too late. I squeeze/wring between layers: leave-in, cream, gel, then up in a turban micro or CurlEase towel. When I take it down I do apply a little more gel if the weathe is very humid, otherwise not.
