Thinking of trying this DESPITE the bad cone!! I have such poofy hair!! Has anyone used this for a long time with no bad effects?

I'll speak up because I just stopped using it.

I used a sample of it and LOVED it, so I went out and bought a bottle. It's lasted me a long time, and I used it daily. I absolutely loved it. It totally does what it says it will do. It reduces the poof, and frizz in my hair, but keeps the curl. Even when I would use it on wet hair before blow drying, it would minimize the fluffiness after I blow dried on high and whipped my hair around.

THAT BEING SAID:

It TOTALLY dried out my hair. Totally and completely. I'm working on trying to get it back to healthy but my ends were totally fried, and I was covered in split ends. I kept doing split end trims to try to fix the dryness, but it was just a mess.

I've been no-pooing and conditioning well for the past week, with NO cones, and NO sulfates, and my hair is starting to get back to normal.
