Joico Sale at Trade Secret
 

I apologize for the error. I purchased the product at Trade Secret. For some reason, the name of that store never sticks in my head.

With all the talk of the Whip, recently, I couldn't resist any longer and purchased a bottle this evening. In front of the Joico display was a sale sign that read, "Buy 2 get 1 Free." I'm not made of money, but if I had used and liked the product already, I would have taken them up on that. It's a $15 savings. I have to admit, as well, that it felt good walking into a place and purchasing a product, sans the shipping fee. I just hope I like the product as much as most of you seem to. I have a lot of hair, but it's not overly thick or fine. It's medium, I would say. It seems this product works for all kinds of hair types, though, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Sally's carries Joico? Who knew?

Does Sally's have a website/store locater? I've always wondered if we have one around here. I get most of my products from Trade Secret or CurlMart but I'd love to hit up that sale! :D

When I got mine at Beauty Express on wednesday (same as Trade Secrets), they had the Joico products buy 2 get 1 free as well. Think I mentioned that in JoiWhip worship thread. :wink:

Really? I must have missed that. I'll have to check my Trade Secret this weekend. I just got a new bottle...three more bottles and I would be set for 2007!!!

Maybe she meant Trade Secret? Sally's doesn't carry Joico.

Really??? (again, lol!) Well am I missing anything good at Sally's?

I'm going to sound like a broken record here, but don't forget that if you go to Beauty Express/ Trade Secrets before 11am on tuesdays then you get 20% off your total (or the last tuesday of the month between 7-9pm). :)

This is the link for the specials during January, and then if you click on the left of the page where it says 'download specials for january', a pdf file showing the calendar of specials will download. It shows the tuesday discounts. :)

I'm so sorry. I did mean Trade Secret. That's what I get for posting after an intense kick boxing class. :D I'm sorry about that, everyone.

Thanks for the info Lush! I have been going to Trade Secret for years and never knew about the Tuesday discount!

Does anyone have any other Joico recommendations? I don't use mousse enough 2 go thru 3 bottles :roll:

OS, I didn't think I would do the mousse thing either because I've used tons of mousses and they never work for me, but this one is really good! I can definitely see myself using 3 cans of this one!

ACK! Kenra liters are 2 for $28, which is basically 2 for the price of 1. Between that and the joiwhip, there goes another 60 bucks at TS. :evil:

Well, I'm kicking myself today because if my first experience with this product is any indication, I won't be able to live without it. I should have purchased the three bottles. As of today, I'm a big fan, but my hair likes to play that game. It looks great for a couple of tries with a new product, sometimes, and, then, nothing.

the salon at my Wal-Mart had Joico products on sale for buy one get one 50% off.

Unfortunately, they didn't have any of the JoiWhip. Just the k-pak thermal design foam. Anybody tried that?

Eeek, when I went to 'return' the Joiwhip today in exchange for the buy 2 get 3, they only had 1 can left, so I couldn't do it. :cry: Must hunt down another BE or TS that has a supply.
