Try here: www.salonsavings.com and I think some people said you can find it at a Walmart salon. Hope that helps you.

I get it at a small salon near my house that carries the brand. You can also probably get it at the walmart salon or supercuts..one of the chain-type salons. Back to basics has a salon locator on their website on the homepage, you can type in your zip code and call a couple places to see if they have the specific one you are looking for.

My Mother just purchased two bottles at Trade Secret. Last week, they had the liters on sale.

They still have the liters on sale! But I think I'm going to try and hunt down the old version as the reformulated one didn't do much for slip in my hair.
It was good, just not the slip I need. Reminded me a little bit of Elucence texture-wise actually.

Hey lush - just to let you know... The old PP doesn't give me much slip. I love it for the moisture & clumping action, but I sometimes add some Deva One C into my hair if I'm having a tough time with tangles.

Yeah it reminded me of elucence too which for me is slip enough. The old version is thicker.
I can't tell if it's more hydrating or not. I had to baking soda scrub everything off my hair because I put too much of that JCS nourish and shine on and gunked my hair up oops!
I should have gotten the light formula

lush I forgot to ask did it give you good clumping? I had some tangly hair (this was before I scrubbed with baking soda) but the clumping was real good.
I'll try it again tomorrow now that I've scrubbed my hair well.

I just bought a Back to Basics Wild Berry conditioner two days ago for about $10.00 at a Publix in Florida while on vacation. It does feel a little like Elucence...I could see the difference in my hair everytime I use it. Though I'm not sure if it's a chain supermarket. Hopefully I find it in Texas It would be nice to not have to order products online.

oooh lucky you Vanessa! I'll check my publix when I'm out. Did that one give you good clumping?

Oh duh forgot to say, Publix is a chain, we have them here in Sd. I haven't been back to my home state of TX in 7 years so I don't know if Publix is there or not. I sure miss Krogers and Albertsons though.

Thanks for the tip kjwavy! So have you tried both versions and noticed any difference?
medusahair, I'm afraid I didn't get any clumping at all. I did everything the same except conditioned with the B2B, and my hair is actually quite a bit stringier and less curly. It's very full, but not much definition and no clumping for me. Complete opposite to when I did everything the same 2 days ago but with the Kenra. Oh well, I'll give it another go and see if it works any differently for me. I'm just wondering if I should bother to look for the old version on ebay or not. What is wrong with my freakish hair?

eta: just wanted to say that my hair doesn't look BAD, so I'm not saying the condish made my hair look awful, it just doesn't look as good as the other day with the Kenra and not AS curly. But again, the volume is good.

Ok, I'm a dork. I remember one thing I did differently today besides the condish, and that was using No-Poo instead of co-washing with Suave. Not that I think that would make the difference.

No, lush, I haven't tried the new formulation. I found the old formula at Big Lots for only $1.50, tried it & loved it, then went back to clean them out of it, lol

Hi KJ Wavy,
I just purchased the B2B Pomegranate Peach from Trade Secret. It was a poo/cond gift set on clearance for 7 bucks and some change and came with a candle. I don't know if it's new or old formula, but here are the ingredients on the conditioner: water, propylene glycol, myristyl alcohol, behentrimonium chloride, cetrimonium chloride, isopropyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, parfum/fragrance, decyl oleate, metylparaben, proplyparaben, limonene, linalool butylphenyl methylpropional, geraniol, sodium hydroxide, panthenol, butylene glycol, prunus, persica (peach) fruit extract, punica granatum extract, hibiscus sabdariffa flower extract, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate.

Can you tell me if this is the new or old formula? I also bought two liters of the Kenra cond, since they were buy-one-get-one-free and a small bottle of the Kenra moisturizing poo. I am really hoping I hit a home run with these products because my last PJ binge was a huge disappointment.

Nevermind I just read the conditioner chronicles and discovered that I have the new formula. I haven't tried it yet, so I don't know if it's a good or bad thing. With my luck...go figure .

That's so funny because I mentioned in another thread that I bought that exact B2B condish/poo/candle set for 7 bucks and some change earlier this week as well. That was also when I got the Kenra condish that I fell in love with. I can tell you that since it was the candle set, it's the new formulation of the B2B condish, not the old. If it wasn't for getting it so cheap I would return the whole thing, but since the candle smells so nice I'll probably just keep it and give the poo to my mom or someone else who uses shampoo.

Hi squigglycurls - Sorry it took me so long to respond The easiest way to tell the difference between the two formulas is that the newer one's bottle is different. It looks like a lower case 'b' & it is colored. The old formula (at least the ones that I have) are a clear bottle (the conditioner itself is white), & the bottle is a rectangular shape

The ingredients are somewhat different, but people who have used both say that there isn't much difference in the way their behaves. Sounds like you got a great deal, though, & I bet that you'll love the conditioner

Wow! I usually post in the 3c and general boards, so I guess I missed it. That's wild! This morning I tried the Kenra and I really liked it. I used some CON (cream of nature) as a leave in. Although I've got my eye on the Jamaican Cactus Lime Leave in (old formula). Anyways, I love the Kenra. When I got out of the shower, I slathered in some ION Curl Defining Shaping Cream (green jar). The brushed each section with a D4 brush, which created great clumps. I was at first alarmed because my hair was white, but it dried clear. I like the way it turned out. I just don't know what to do for second day hair. I was thinking maybe some Citrus Shine Curl booster, perhaps? Suggestions welcome!
