A/G Re:Coil - WOW! WOW! WOW!

I use it like Lush. I use about a quarter size on very wet hair. I use it either after my leave-in, or I mix it with the leave-in in my hand and apply them together. I rake it through my hair very thoroughly, then add my gel or mousse.

Just remembered something else. If you have any pink Boots, you can mix a dab of each together in your hands for a good combo.

It looks like they just added a bunch of salons in my area, I wonder if they've made a push to widen distribution. I remember looking for it last summer and not finding it within 20 miles; now there are a bunch pretty close by. Yay.
3B, I think w/very thick hair, shoulder length. Fall hair: Low Poo, TS, CK, Aloeba leave in, recoil or RR, plop, BRHG or SMU, no blow dry.
Same here, they didn't have any listed for my area a year ago, and now there are tons of salons here carrying it! No complaints though.

...stop it..... I'm gonna buy it!
In DESPERATE need of a haircut.
This is waaaaaaay out of my budget and I don't even have a car to go places, so I searched for salons within 10 miles, which I probably would have very little chance to get to anyway, just to discourage myself with the lack of findings. Well, thanks a lot, Joelle! Your beauty supply shop actually seems familiar (like it exists!) and knowing it's close by is killing me now. :x

When will the torture end??!!
OMG, LOOK!!

Sorry. I don't mean to add to your torture...
HG's: (I alternate)
DEP Sport Gel or B&A Gel
Naturalle Gel (used like CK - a ton in sopping wet hair and mostly air dry)
all used over a leave in

Method: Air dry 20 minutes, then blow dry for volume.

2/3 mix waves/curls - coarse, frizz prone, med. thick, porous, at-home color for gray, protein sensitive but I still need it sometimes, glycerin-sensitive (I think) in high humidity, NOT CG, wash with regular S&C 2x a week.
MY HAIR LOOKS FANTASTIC! I mean, FANTASTIC. Gorgeous curl and wave definition, volume, shine and softness.

If they ever even think of changing the formula we'll all have to chain ourselves to their door in protest

Now I'm kicking myself because I didn't ask her to see if the salon had Fast Food, too.

Going natural for the summer...just a dab of ArcAngell!
OK, just got great 2nd day hair with this too.

Woke up this a.m. and after taking my shower (I kept my hair hidden up in a towel so it stayed dry) I just re-scrunched my hair with some water to reactivate the curl (very little water, not even enough to make my hair damp) and used less than a pea size dollop of Re:coil and scrunched it in all over. My hair looks just as good today as it did yesterday.

I think I am in love. Seriously. I cannot get over how nice my hair feels either, so smooth and moisturized and soft. And I love that I only need very little to work.

I'll stop now...

I used the re:coil for the first time this morning. I must admit, so far I am impressed! I conditionerd with OneC, used about two pea-sized blops of Re:coil on very wet hair, and then used the Aura Hypo-Gel over the top.

The hair on my canopy is curling better than it normally does and it's not even raining today!

I will keep experimenting.

my Fotki hair journey/experiment diary PW is brio (and I really need to update it!)

3A hair; coloring with henna/indigo since July 2009; normally follow the CG method. Still searching for my HG products!

Yep, I do think it is the Recoil that allows me to go 2-3 days in between washing, and still have it look good enough. And wild_sasparilla, I know it is pricey, because it is, BUT a tube really does last a long time because you use it pretty sparingly. It will definitely pay for itself.

Please continue posting on this.

I tried Re:Coil early in my CG transformation and I felt it didn't work on my 2c waves. But since my waves have started making a turn for more curls lately, maybe with a little care I can learn to use Re:Coil to my advantage too

OMG, I caved & just bought it! I am out of control!! I was able to find it on ebay for $11.49 & with shipping it came to $16, so I did save some money. Yikes, I hope I like it. So, I have a lot of hair, should I still use very little?
How much hair do you have? Mine is to the middle of my back or just below bsl, and I posted above how much I use. My hair is fine-medium but I have a ton of it!

You can see it in my fotki, it is very thick...The length in the back is probably bsl. I will check out your posting, thanks.
Wow, you already have some really awesome curls, so I'm not sure if Recoil could do anything to make them better.

Well, my local beauty supply sells this for $12.99!! Of course, after I already ordered it online! Oh well, I guess I know where to find it should I fall in love with it.
This needs to be bumped because..

where has this product been my whole life? I got some awesome curls with not frizz my first time using re:coil!!
In DESPERATE need of a haircut.
Welcome to the club!

I have been using just Re:coil exclusively for the past almost 3 months and I am still LOVING. IT.

I have never been so happy with one product in my whole life. And bonus! since you don't need a lot, I am still on the same tube with plenty left.

LOVE!
