Big cut!
I finally cut my hair! Was trying so hard to get it to waist length, but the cost of caring for it vs the dream of super-long hair... they just weren't meshing. Sides, most of the time it just ended up in a flat messy bun, getting pulled while cuddling or sleeping or just plain getting in the way. Sad, but true.

I think I have a better picture of the new cut, but I'm pretty sure it's on my camera still.
My fiancé measured it before I cut it (was going to donate it originally, forgot when I got there), and it was about 11 inches just below my shoulders. Am I second-guessing it? Yeah. Do I love how easy it is to take care of? Heck yeah! I was also informed that I would look cute with a pixie, so I'm thinking of giving that a try next year. I want to see how this one goes. I have to admit, I'm using much less shampoo/conditioner this way. (and have gotten compliments on it!)

Big cut!
Looks great so far - please put up pix showing it from the front, and in profile. Pretty please??? Your hair looks so much healthier, and indeed, you won't be using so much product in general. Easier drying too.
My own hair is very thick, and even at shoulder length, I have to use two whole boxes of the Revlon Colorsilk hair color(those bottles ARE small however)to do my hair, and I do have to go cheap on my products in general as it takes a lot to get through my hair. I'm talking tablespoons full of gel, etc. A nickel-sized blob of anything only addresses one little section of my hair LOL!

It's so shiny! And without the extra weight it's really defined. BEAUTIFUL!

Wow! That is a big cut! It looks great! Now it has more style. And it's darker! Is that your natural color now? or before?
I understand about it getting in the way. Mine is not nearly the length yours was, but it already starts to get in the way and bug me. I like it just below shoulder, easier and cheaper.

OK, I took another look at the very first photo. I think it's the lighting, it appears to be light brown/dark blonde compared to the medium brown it is. Lighting. My hair looks lighter and redder in certain light and photos. And the ends were probably faded, now cut off.
It looks great! I really like the front and how it frames your perfectly oval face.
