Yay!

I use two claw clips along my part and it helps a lot. But, today I got to work and realized I still had the clips in my hair! Fortunately no one saw me before I took them out.
I have recently started clipping - what a difference!!
Better everyone think your a fool, than to open your mouth and prove them right.

SuZen - I did that 2 days in a row. Both times it was my boss who called it to my attention. Couldn't the other 10 people who saw me earlier have mentioned it?

I don't have a pic. Many people use short metal clips and criss-cross two so they make the hair along the part stand up. I am clip-impaired and never could get that to work! My stylist showed me the claw clip technique, which for me is much easier. I just take a couple of clips, the medium size ones that fit comfortably around my thumb, and clip them along my part, one in front of the other, so that each one draws the hair on either side of the part together. I leave them there while I diffuse and then take them out. (Unless I forget!)

wow that's really helpful! but won't criss crossing you're hair spoil clumps and curl pattern. What about just clipping the roots as it is without criss crossing?
If you scroll down there are pics of other clipping methods that don't criss-cross. There are lots of ways, feel free to experiment.
Wow those pics were very helpful THANKS :^) going to try that on the weekend!
