Help me shop!
I need to order some more Curl Keeper from Curlmart but that's all I actually need right now... I'm thinking I should order something else to make it worth my time and money. Great thought process, right? That's where you all come in... what's the new *it* product? I've been on the non-hair board almost exclusively and have successfully staved off my pj. So, it's time to bring it back! I'm pretty much open to anything, esp. styling products-- curl enhancers, gel, hairspray. My hair gets weighed down very easily and therefore can always use more volume. I also need a very strong hold gel-- I currently use BRHG.
Here's a pretty recent picture of my hair. It's a little longer now... :
Bring on the suggestions!

OMG!!! YOUR HAIR IS GORGEOUS, WOMAN!!
You obviously don't need any new products, but the elucence volume designing foam has a nice following here, I believe, and that sounds like a good product for your curly, volumey needs....
An "it" product right now is the CJ Banana and Hibiscus Honey leave-in for fine hair, curlies across the board (heehee) say it's divine!
So concludes my late-night comment.
...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

ITA with the above, great pic! You really have absolutely NO excuse to be a PJ, the "it" product might just ruin what you now have so "flee temptation" while you can. And if you feel you must get something else, just buy a product for your mother, a sister or your best friend and save it for their birthday or something.

You definitely need some curl Junkie stuff, the conditioner already suggested is dreamy.
A lot are liking MopTop conditioner but I can't speak for that one since I haven't tried it yet.
Curl Junkie has some nice curl cremes too, that guava one (haven't used the protein one just the one without it) is really nice.
YOur hair is lovely! Happy shopping!

You all are too sweet! Thanks for the compliments. (You would laugh today if you saw my hair... it's 4 days old in a big frizzy ponytail bun thing, and I've been in and out of the dreary rain all day. Yuck!)
I think I bought the elucence foam a while back, and wasn't sure I liked it. Am I remembering correctly? I'll have to see if I can remember... Anyways, I have wanted to try it, so maybe I will. How do you all use volumizing foam?
I am tempted to try the CJ stuff... it hit the market right before I started wandering to the non-hair board, and I remember people raving about it, esp. how it smells. I'm a little scared to try the leave in... my hair has never done well with leave in conditioner. I actually have to alternate Suave with my Jessicurl Aloeba because my hair will get too weighed down, even though I rinse it all the way out. So maybe I'll try the curl creme instead... Thanks for the suggestions so far!
ETA: I just went to Curlmart to investigate the CJ products and saw the liquid pomade. Anyone have any experience with this?

You know you can use the rinse out CJ's , that thick and lucious is nice. I still think the leave in suggested is the best of the bunch. Their Deep fix is really nice but it leaves me limp the first day but super shiny and spirally then back to normal the second day.
Sorry I haven't used the pomade. I have used the Jane Carter solution nourish and shine, and jennyfurrens likes the lighter version of that. Lovely stuff for shine!
lushaholic, me enable? me?? I can't help it you're back in the land of our products!

Re: Help me shop!
Lauraloo-you have some amazing hair girl!
I agree, whatever you are using seems to definitely work for you. As far as the new "it" products, I personally have been daydreaming of purchasing and using AG re-coil curl enhancer because of everyone's raves (fine and course hairs alike). I am curious, what is your routine, and how do you have such defined, yet soft looking hair? I seem to rarely get both at the same time
On another note, to help you w/ volume I strongly recommend Aveda Sap Moss Styling Spray. I have been using it for over a year w/ great results. It has the consistancy of a spray gel. I spray it on my roots after applying my other products and diffuse upside down. It gives great volume, and gives me ropey curls close to the root. I also use it while diffusing to spot treat areas that need more curl definition or are frizzy. It is my HG magic potion in a bottle. Mousses are great for more volume as well, and many are raving about the Joico one here, but I have never tried it. I personally love Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam med. hold, but I know there is also an extra body formula. Both the Aveda and PM have water soluable cone(s).

Oh, "help" is the new word for enabling, I get it. Don't think that your persuasive phrase "you definitely need some..." went unnoticed by me.
I sure couldn't spell in this one!
