I'm thinking of darkening my hair close to my natural color, and wanted something gentle and non-permanent. I figured this is the best way to go since I tend to get alittle bored with color. It looks good ingredient wise, (and isn't 100% henna, so I assume that I shouldn't experence too dark of a color).

I'm considering the dk brown, chocolate, lt brown, or mahogany.

For those that have used it, did the color take dark? If so, how many shades above the desired color did you go? Did it affect the texture of your hair negatively? Make the hair dry or brittle?

Sorry for all of the questions. I just want to make sure I pick the right brand.
