Changing curl pattern

Hi,

I noticed the other day that my curl pattern is changing. I have 3C/4A hair. It looks like this when combed out like that: http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:A...lYmjD6Dq2I&t=1

I've noticed that my hair's starting to have some small-ish curls and some that are bigger than the small-ish ones. It's starting to look a bit more like just 3c. Is this normal?

I know I've taken waaaaaaaaay WAAAAY more care of my hair than I did like a year (and all the years before that) ago, but apart from when I was a baby and my hair started growing out (well...I had about 3b curls then) and before my first hair cut, still relatively a baby, but I was about 1-ish (about 3b/3c), I haven't had curls like this. After my mum cut my hair the first time, it grew back with a whole different curl pattern, when I was about 7 (about BSL length), my hair looked like...like...cotton candy (lol, that's the only way I can describe it). I got my hair relaxed when I was 8 (after a BC which)I had straight hair, but it never fully looked relaxed even though relaxers didn't burn me so I could stay with them on for a really long time. When I started transitioning back to natural (long-term), I had 4a-ish curls, but when my natural hair grew out a bit more, it was obviously 3c/4a and now it's getting more 3c. I don't understand what's happening.
Can anyone help me?
Things I use: Olive Oil, Canola oil, rosemary oil, aloe vera gel, shea butter, mayonnaise, eggs, milk, bananas

Everything I use is 100% natural. I make most of them myself because then I'm sure what's in it and I'm sure nothing's added, it's pure, it's natural.

Things I avoid: Mineral oil (codename: Baby oil), heat (I'm a total, no hair driers, no straighteners, no curling irons, no flat irons, no hot combs...nada), sodium chloride

Growing plan: At least 6 inches longer in a year.
Not quite sure what you're asking. Is your question "Do hair patterns change over time?" Sure, they can, for all sorts of reasons. How does it affect you if your hair pattern has changed?
3b/c?

Our hair, skin, metabolism, and such changes every 7 or so years. Perhaps this is what's happening.
I wouldn't worry about it as long as you aren't losing your hair. I've had about 4 different curl patterns in my life so far...and now i'm nearing 40 yrs old, I'm not sure what's in store. My curl pattern has gone from what my picture shows (last year) to these tubes and ringlets all over my head. weird, but I'm happy as long as I don't go bald or don't go straight. I love my curls.
If it's healthy and you take care of it (which sounds like you do) I think your hair could just be going through that 7 yr change.
3a/b i think..
Fine/highly porous/low elasticity

Wish my shine would come through though, right now my dogs have shinier hair than I do.
HG: HONEY!!! yay for Honey!!

I love shrinkage!
thanks noodle noggin.

I took a good look at my hair today and I actually still love it even with how it's changing.
And like you said, "I'm happy as long as I don't go bald or don't go straight. I love my curls."
noodle noggin likes this.

My hair type changes with length. The longer it is, the less curly it is. I just cut off six inches to get my root curl back because my roots were pretty straight.

Also, seasonal changes can cause loosening and tightening of the curl pattern. A humid summer is a big change from a dry winter.

Med/Coarse, porous curly.
Yeah that's happening to me too. When I bced my hair was like 4a/4b and now its mix 3c/ a little 4a also, my hair at the root is reaaaly course by then spirals out
