Colored Natural hair Damage prevention

Hi,

How do you prevent your hair from spliting if you colored your hair.

Because I recently colored my hair does that mean I guranteed to get split ends and damage hair
I'm a stylist.

Anytime you chemically treat your hair you will get some damage but depending on what is used and how it's done it can be minimized. I color my hair every month (sometimes more often if I'm in the mood for a change) and I treat my hair before and after to minimize it.

It's all in what you're willing to put up with. However, that said....even when you DON'T chemically treat you can still damage your hair. Pulling too hard, getting it caught in things, pulling it up too tightly, all those things can also cause damage.
