Ashea Shea butter

IS this good to use in my hair to keep my colored hair from breaking and splitting

I just started using Cristalli De Lino (linseed Oil)

But I wanted to know if this below is better

My ex hairdresser (LOL I have sworn them off) used to use this on my hair. It started after she didn't base my scalp before a perm one day and I ended up w/really bad burns so she gave me a huge tub of it to soothe my scalp (worked very well). I continued to use it the entire time I was relaxed and I ALWAYS got soooo many compliments from people about how healthy and shiny my hair looked. I have yet to find another product that gives my hair that kind of shine.

That being said, since transitioning/becoming newly all natural I have yet to try it again. I have wanted to in order to see if I get the same results however if you are looking for something to help w/split end prevention, etc are you incorporating regular protein/moisture treatments/trims into your hair reggie especially since coloring your hair? I don't normally color my hair often but when I do I only use rinses but I am sure to up my moisture game and I always DT every week anyway and I always do a PT once a month regardless of whether I have color or not.
Hair Type: A head full of THICK, normal porosity curls/coils that I am TOTALLY in LUV with!
(Transitioned for 16 & 1/2 months)

Especially if you are planning on continuing to color.

My reggie is consistent, but not strict (if I notice something is no longer working for my hair than I change it but I am consistent in the fact that no matter what I show my hair some love every week). I am absolutely not a product junkie and I would advise against becoming one. Of course you have to experiment to see what products work for you, but don't give up on a product after one try. Just bc it doesn't work for co-washing it doesn't mean it may not be a fab leave-in and don't expect to see immediate results overnight. Sometimes you will like w/my homemade protein treatments I saw less breakage right away but when I began deep treating w/basic coconut oil it took about 2 months before I REALLY saw the benefits that it had on my hair.

That is not to saw that you may not immediately know if a product is not for you. When I used organix conditioner my hair felt soooo stripped that I never used it again. Basically experiment but don't go crazy, be consistent w/the love you show to your hair and pay attention to how it responds to the products you put on it and how you treat it and make the necessary adjustments when needed. When all else fails do some research. There is soooo much info out there that I'm sure whatever question you may eventually have there will be an answer to!
