I don't like the way my hair looks when I let it air dry and it takes so long for it to completely dry but I want to stop using heat completely.. Does anyone know of any alternative methods that require no heat but gives similar results as diffusing? (more volume and defined curls)

Scrunching with a microfiber towel, t-shirt or curls like us cloth would be an option. It's not as fast as diffusing but will speed up the air drying process. It will likely give you yet another curl pattern. At least it does for me. My hair looks different if I diffuse, scrunch or air dry. There are pros and cons for each technique. I like my curls if I air dry but don't have the volume I like. I like the volume if I diffuse but the curls aren't as well defined. Blotting/scrunching gives me a little volume but I have to really be careful or I'll break up the curls.
