Texturizers?

What do texturizers do and what do they have in them? I see them in the black hair care of drugstores all the time and wonder...

Unlike chemical relaxers that completely straighten out the hair's bonds, texturizers only loosen up the hair's bonds in order to create a slightly looser and smoother texture of hair on your head instead. Texturizers come in two forms lye or no-lye.

Please remember that any type of chemical treatment that you put in your hair to either straighten or loosen the bonds of your hair is not without any drawbacks of course. Texturizers just like chemical relaxers can cause dryness and/or breakage to occur to your hair.
