Moving from the Desert to the Coast...HELP!

Hello! I'm a 2b wavy who has lived her entire life in high desert areas where the humidity rarely gets above 20%. I'm moving to the east coast this summer for graduate school and I'm terrified that my hair is going to become an uncontrollable beast.

Any tips on transitioning from a dry climate to a very humid climate?
i just did somthing like this, i came from Australia, (think hot dry/humid) to germany, (think cold wet) then back again, so right now im in Australia. I was wondering about that as well, but for the first week or so, my hair was rather tamed and my curl patteren was looser, but after that it decided to get bigger, i have no problem with big hair, i love it, but there was a few days where it didnt matter what i did my hair didnt wanna do what i wanted to do.
so my tip is: dont try to fight it, just try to work with it, if it wants to be big, leave it, try to do somthing bout the fizz and listen to what it wants HTH and give us an update bout how it goes.

my hair: 3c, high porosity, high density and coarse hair (i think i finally figured that all out)
my hair loves conditioner only styling!
my hair goal length is bra strap length when curly.

I also blog about my hair journey, please feel free to read and comment/ask questions http://www.naturallycurly.com/blogs/...air-blogs/2494
