I tried out a new Dt that has done well (for a single use at any rate).

Here's a link to my review. If any of you are very protein sensitive, it might be worth a look, although the cost could be prohibitive. It's protein free (yay) from what I can tell, although I admit that I wasn't positive about the purpose of a couple of the ingredients.

No problem. It's nice to see no protein!

ETA: I used it again tonight since my hair has been super dry. I had even better results. I even got some of my curl back that I've been losing to the winter dryness. Woohoo!

Wow $20 for 5 oz? How much of it did you use each time you DT'd?

I may have to start DTing this winter (don't really make it a habit of doing it). Now that Global Warming has suddenly disappeared and it's barely 30 degrees here in NYC nowadays, my curls has gone on vacation

Well, it is thick so I didn't need a ton. About a 50cent piece blob covers my hair - and it's thick, coarse and just below BSL when wet. Still, the line is very pricey. Very few things are truely protein free though, so have to get what I can get.

Since it's the only thing that has given me decent curls this winter, I'll just suck it up and pay the super high price, although I do cringe at that price.
