How do you wash out oils?

When you do oil rinses or just apply oil to your hair, how do you wash it out and make sure there's no build-up?

I massaged Bringraj oil into my hair y'day (on dry hair) and co-washed today but there's still lots of oil in my hair that didn't get washed out. I am wondering whether to use a shampoo tomorrow to get my hair cleaned.

Pls help me ladies.
I use bentonite and rhassoul clays to cleanse my hair and it works wonderfully to rid any build up from oils but doesn't strip my hair.

same oils you dont have to wash out, i dont wash out most of my oils and i dont get any build up maybe the heavier ones i gotta wash out but the light ones i dont, argan and coconut soak into my hair anyway

my hair: 3c, high porosity, high density and coarse hair (i think i finally figured that all out)
my hair loves conditioner only styling!
my hair goal length is bra strap length when curly.

I also blog about my hair journey, please feel free to read and comment/ask questions http://www.naturallycurly.com/blogs/...air-blogs/2494
The coconut and other light oils soak into my hair too and do get washed out by conditioners. So I guess if I use heavier oils I might want to use shampoo!!
Wouldn't Apple cider vig strip it out?
