Default Too much of a product?

Can your hair get too used to products if you use them too much? If so, what happens? Like if I used the same conditioner for months and all of a sudden switched?

No, hair is not living like skin. Usually when people talk about hair "getting used to something" its because they have build up in their hair and the product is no longer effective. Its perfectly fine to switch products as often as you want or use the same ones as long as you want. As long as your avoiding ingredients that can build up or removing them properly you should be fine

My hair has always satiated on hair products--even back in the shampoo/conditioner only times (only been using products for 4 years.) Shampoo/conditioned every day (with non silicone products, so no build up) and my hair would get limp and lifeless if I didn't change things up every two or three weeks.

Many of us on nc.com rotate products for that very reason. If we use them too much, we just don't get the same results. I wet, use a rinse out and style every day. Seldom use any one product more then twice in a week.

Does that happen even if you use all natural products?

I only use what I call the more natural products. I stay away from polyquats and other chemicals that my hair doesn't like. My current favorites are in my signature.
