Does heat protection products work ?
 

Was wondering if heat protection products really work , especially on high porous hair , and what r some good examples :) ?

Back before I was CG I used heat and heat protectants and they did work atleast to some extent because if I didn't use them my hair would fry and you could even smell it (gross, I know) the problem is that the only heat protectants that work are filled with cones because cones absorb heat. If you are CG then I wouldn't suggest using heat often for that reason. But once in a while when I do heat style my hair I cover it with cones and then do a sulfate wash because atleast for me the damage of one sulfate wash is less than that of heat styling without cones.
