Sign me up!

But will someone explain to me what hair rehab involves? I am a lurker first time poster

My hair is currently highlighted with very light blonde, and dry! I am on day 5 of the CG routine and want my 'cones so bad but am not giving in.

I would also LOVE to let my highlights and colour grow out but am dreading the awful roots that will come with it.

Count me in! I Am definitely going through hair rehab now after I've had a relapse of straightening, frequently dying and using silicones and sulfates on my hair. I'm currently trying to go CG again and not straighten my hair at all anymore.. And not dye it either! Which is big for me since I've been obsessed with dying my hair and I've been dying it for the past 6 years.

Me too! I recently texturized my hair and ended up with really loose waves and slightly dried out ends

Time to do a ton of deep treatments and give my hair lots of loving care to get it curling again

I'm rehabbing my hair... chopped a lot off to achieve this goal within 2012 (hope to be grown out by my birthday in June!). No color ever again (too much money and maintenance!).

It's hard to grow them out the first month or two, but the line( u know where the natural hair stops and the colour begins?) fades afterwards, and actually creates a ombré effect if ur hair isn't too dark compared to ur hilights or all over

Also when the roots start to show try a coffee rinse, it gives you a slight brownish tint and blends the roots naturally.(it ur hair is brown) it worked for me.

Rehab involves taking better care of your hair and loving it not like the past, to grow out your hair or make it healthy

I would love to join as well. At 45 it's hard to give up color completely because I'm not ready to go gray but i will try demi permanent color only. Also how do you post pictures. I recently went back to my natural color and did a major hair cut and would love to start working on a cg routine. I think I'm a 3b 3c, not sure.

I'm so there! My hair is not processed or colored and hasn't had any heat on it, but I went way too long without getting a trim and wound up having to lose 6 inches, so I am all about keeping my hair healthy!!!!

omg, i am so in! my hair has suffered horrors at my hands this year. crazy oil treatments that have left me with bald spots, eczema, thinning ends. it's gotten so bad that i've started seeing a dermatologist that's not even covered by my insurance. that's some serious out of pocket bucks! i really need some serious rehab! it's truly back to basics for me in 2012! no more gels, no heat, no color, no more fancy, schmancy treatments that leave me worse off than when i started! it's time for me to embrace this kinky curly mane just the way it is and stop trying to make it do what i want. whewwww! i feel much better now!

also...how do you do a coffee rinse?
To do a coffee rinse you brew a cup (or two) of dark coffee and let it cool, then you can add as Mutch conditoner as you want and apply it to your hair, wrap up your hair in plastic wrap, a shower cap, or a plastic bag and go to sleep, I do this every time I wash my hair, over time it gives you a nice stain.

Still growing....still waiting.....never seems to grow.

I'm having to color my hair though, as the ends are the bits that were blonde and lose their color fast and look brassy but I'm only using a 28 wash color. But I'm liking the coffee rinse idea.

I went through a short stage of straightening again, my hair was still growing out and my hairdresser left the country and my back up one retired. I haven't found anyone else yet.
