Yes! My hair was curlier as a small child (3a/3b), but my curls are looser now (2c/3a). I've always loved tight ringlets, and wished my own were more uniform. I remember one time in highschool, my mom took me to an expensive salon as I was so frustrated with my frizzy hair and no one knew how to cut it (always had one long layer and triangle head). This stylist told me I would probably like my hair better if my curlier ringlets were more wavy like the rest of my hair, and suggested a relaxer. Needless to say, that did not happen. Instead she cut my hair in three long layers that looked like shelves (shudder). Never went back there again! I love my hair now, but I always sigh over pictures of tight, bouncy ringlets

My favorite brands are Kinky Curly, As I am, Curly Kinks, Curl Junkie, and Darcy's Botanicals. Also love sealing with oils (loving argan oil right now) and styling with jelly products (KCCC is my current favorite). Mostly trying to keep it simple!

Even though I love my hair. If I could change my wave/curl pattern I'd want more tighter curls like 3b. I just love tight curls I think they are so pretty and there are days I get so mad with my hair because the curls are so loose that even fingering it the curls fall out so tighter curls would be great.

Idk what it is like to be a loose haired curly or wavy...my coils and kinks are the tightest of tight. But as someone with small coils, I don't want looser/bigger coils. Don't get me wrong, I like hair in general and love seeing a great head of curly, wavy, straight hair. But I actually think my hair suits me as is aesthetically. Now if I could have a shorter detangling time with my current kinky coils, I would definitely take that!

My hair makes me unique and it is something I finally understand to the core.
