Hey curlies, I just started the cg method and would love some help with ingredients. I can't find LA Looks gel anywhere (I'm in Canada) so I thought I could try this wal*mart brand gel. Not sure if it's compatible with the cg method so any feedback would be appreciated!

Equate Styling Gel Sport Ultimate Hold

Ingredients:
Aqua, Sorbitol, PVP, Carbomer,Triethanolamine, Polysorbate-20, Propylene Glycol, Tetrasodium EDTA, Panthenol, Parfum, Methylparaben,Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Benzophenone-4, DMDM Hydantoin.

If this isn't ok to use, is aloe vera ok?

It looks CG. I don't see any silicones or sulfates. A lot of people on these boards use aloe vera. I personally have never tried it.
