How to use KCKT?
I'm confused about how you are supposed to actually use this product. Do you use it like a conditioner and rinse it out? Or do you apply it in the shower and comb through your hair to remove tangles and then just leave it in?

From what I've read here, people use it very differently, based on what works for them. I actually bought KCKT to use as a co-wash after someone recommended it as a co-wash that would cleanse well. I've tried it as a co-wash and as a leave-in, but not as a rinse-out (I usually use something heavier). I don't like it as much as a leave-in, but I love it as a co-wash.

KCKT is a Leave In conditioner. IMO i dont think that it is heavy or thick enuff to be used as a rinse out. When you put it on your hair it does not coat it,it is very light and penetrates. These are not properties i personally look for in a rinse out. And also it is too expensive to just rinse it down the drain everytime i put it in my hair.

I use it right out of the shower to detangle witha wide tooth comb then dunk my hair with a glass full of water over my sink to keep the KCKT in but clump my curls.

My hair doesn't tangle, so the KCKT really isn't useful for me. For a lot of folks, it's just a detangler. It's not moisturizing enough to use as a rinse out or leave in for me.

I've tried it as a leave in, rinse out and to SOTC.
I've tried using it as a leave in several times now with no sucess, it leaves my hair feeling weighed down, producty, and my curls fall really fast. At first I thought I was a bit heavy handed with the application but I've experimented with different amounts and have never gotten good results.
I used it as a rinse out when i ran out of my regular condish, it was a total fail, not moisturizing at all but FANTASTIC at detangling.
I used a little to SOTC but it left my hair feeling coated and weighed down and suprise, suprise, my curls fell.
just experiment and find out what works best for you.

It's a leave-in conditioner but like someone mentioned above it's heavy enough to be used as a rinse out too. I use a very very tiny bit underneath my gel and for detangling. I've found if I use too much my hair my hair dries with less hold then I like and this stuff is good but pretty heavy, a little goes a long way.

I use it as a leave-in. For me, it's really nice and smooth and I feel like my hair absorbs it nicely.
I can't use it with gel for some reason... My hair takes like 2 hours to dry but with KCKT and LALSG together it takes 5 hours -.- Any tips on how to reduce the drying time? I'll diffuse if I have to, or just not use it with gel. When used with gel it's absolutely wonderful and creates glossy, soft curls with hold, it's just the drying time is ridiculous! I don't mind not using gel with this and rocking big hair. Just as long as it's moisturized.

I LOVE this as a leave-in! Actually might be my favorite because it absorbs, leaves hair soft, is easy to distribute, and it isn't heavy so you can use a ton and not get greasy. I apply a lot and rake it all through my hair before combing and then scrunching in gel--KCCC
