Default Would this haircut work with a 3b?

Hello, everyone, I'm new and I have a question. I've been wanting to try a new cut and fell in love with this style, but I'm afraid if I cut it this short, my hair will turn into an afro or fluffy. My question is, If I cut my hair this short, will it still curl? My brother and father also has curly hair; his hair is cut this short in the back and it doesnt curl at all. Will my hair do the same? My hair is a 3b curl. Thanks, and I'm really sorry if I posted in the wrong forum... =)

Here's the cut:

Very cute style but I could never pull that off with my 3b hair without lots of flat ironing.

I don't actually think it would work with your curly hair. You can bring in the picture to your stylist and ask for a similar cut that would work with your curls.

I had my hair cut something similar three years ago. The shortest parts were straight, but I did have to flat iron the longer parts and keeping it as straight as I wanted/needed for that style. It ended up being a total pain and a lot more work than I expected.

I wouldn't go for it, if only because having one eye permanently covered would drive me CRAZY. But I just can't imagine it working with curly hair. Even if the shorter parts are fine, the bangs would need to be straightened.

I know someone with 3b hair that has a haircut very similar to this. Her hair still curls and it's cute but it can look a little messy sometimes. For her, she has to really stay on top of keeping a lot of product in her hair to keep it looking right.

Her hair is the same shape but she has a wee bit more length all the way around...enough for at least one curl diameter in the shorter parts and she wears it curly not straight. I think it can be done if your curls are defined and you don't have a problem with frizz but if I were you I'd make damn sure the stylist knows how to work with very curly hair

It's cute n the shortest part won't curl, but u will have to flat iron the long parts, n as ur hair gets longer u would want to mange it n flat iron it n eventually suffer from heat damage.. It's a cute hair cut but I think it will cost u a lot, curly hair lives length
