Growing Out Forum?

I wanted to bring this topic up here to see what the other ladies thought before making a suggestion in the feedback forum. I was thinking that it would be great to have a section just for topics about growing out hair. When I search for long hair topics, I find that there's long hair/growing out topics on almost every one of the hair forums here. It would be great if they could be combined on one board. What do you think? Do you think people would visit it? I think it would be busier than some of the other hair forums here. I used to go to TLHS.org, my favorite long hair site, but it's shutting down. I'm not so crazy about Long Hair Community. I go to this site quite a bit anyway, so it would be cool if we had our own mini long hair/growing out section. What do you think?
Well since I"m growing mine out I'm in

If it smells good put it in your hair, if it tastes good spit it out!
I'm growing mine as well so I'm in too.
I'm growing mine out too, but I'm not sure what's there to talk about. I figure I just wait, right? Might be interesting to see what other people have to say about it though.

Here's all you have to know about men and women: women are crazy, men are stupid. And the main reason women are crazy is that men are stupid. ~ George Carlin
I'm not trying to grow mine any longer than it already is, just trying to keep it healthy at this length, but I'd definitely find that kind of discussion interesting!

That would be a great idea. Especially since at the LHC, there are all hair types. The one thing that sucks about growing curly hair out is that it takes forever due to shrinkage!

Currently: Trying to stop straightening so much. Using Elucence conditioner and whatever works for me.
I think it might be beneficial to have a seperate forum. It could be a support forum. I've found a lot of info about taking care of curly hair. And a lot of info about taking care of long hair. But it would be nice to know how to actually GET long, curly hair
*CG for wavies. Type 2/3ab mix.

This is a great idea. I am currently growing my hair out AND taking a double daily dose of GNC hair, skin & nails formula. I am desperate for any information that will keep me from going back under the scissors. Last cut I had didn't turn out as well as I thought it would. she cut too much, against my wishes. So now I am back at the very familiar "Square One" and willing to handcuff myself to the house in order to NOT get another haircut for a long time.

LET"S DO THIS THING!
Hair type 3A. Jessicurl is becoming my HG!

There are a lot of ladies here (including myself) that are growing out there hair, and woul love for their to be an added forum that would cater to that.

But, I keep wondering if it's too long to be flattering and have thought about hacking off 8 inches or so. I know I'd be mad if I did, so I didn't go through with it. The last time I had a trim before yesterday was July.

I just found a decent conditioner this week (hopefully), so I hope that helps with ends for the rest of the winter. I need to learn about this dusting of my own ends though.
