I am transitioning to the CG method but in the meantime am experimenting with various methods. I tried the FSG last night and love it but my haircut is really bad for natural drying. Anyway, I need to flatiron my hair so I can go out in public. Can I flatiron over FSG? I won't get out of the house forever if I have to wash it out.

I'm going to schedule a cut today and then no more flat irons for me. FSG gave my coarse wiry hair softness and definition. There is hope! (But not for this haircut!)

Nothing in FSG will make your hair explode if you flat iron over it. However, you should use a heat protectant if you are going to flat iron to help keep the damage to a minimum.
