When you are using your GVP Conditioning Balm, you should try putting extra on your ends, it seems to helps me. I hate that my hair splits so easily!!!

A CG friend gave me this and I liked it until I took a better look at the ingredients:

water, propane, butane, acrylates copolymer, oleth-10, polyquaternium-4, polyquaternium-10, glycerin, peg/ppg-18/18 dimethicone, aminomethyl propanol, laureth-4, dmdm hydantoin, peg-9 castor oil, ppg-12-peg-50 lanolin, hydroxypropyltrimonium honey, betaine, silk amino acids, hydrolyzed silk, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, fragrance, benzyl alcohol, benzyl salicylate, coumarin, eugenol, citronellol, amyl cinnamal, butylphenyl methylpropional, hexyl cinnamal

Now, I'm no science geek but I do know the common mixture of propane & butane is what's used as car fuel and as much as my hair liked it - I stopped using it.

I believe these are used as propellants and will be found in most brands of mousse. But I could definitely be wrong.

You are right. They re found in most brands of mousse. But they are not in all mousse. There are a lot of things out there that are petroleum by products.

How bout your fave Sally's stylers? I'm a wash and go girl. Loved mixed silk leave in combined with the mixed silk curl gel. Now looking for another styler to switch stuff up but avoid those pesky little white balls.

Does the GVP conditoning balm work well and if so what do you use it as a leave in?? also the Eco styler is highly talked about is it good for 3b hair mostly?

I LOOOOVE GVPCB!!!

I use it as a RO and LI! Very rich and moisturizing, does weigh me down, great slip, etc!

I'm actually out right now... Have to make a trip to Sally's!!

I absolutely LOVE GVPCB...I actually purchased 2 bottles for $11 earlier this month on sale. I also like As I am Coconut co-wash.

+1 to As I Am Coconut Co-Wash and I also love (but have to use sparingly cuz of the the glycerine) the Argan Ecostyler. I also used to love their hemp brand of lotions. (Before I went paraben free on skin care products a few years ago.) Oh, they smelled so damn good. And Hair One is fairly similar to Wen and I used to be a Wen girl.
