Graying curls
 

Hey there people. I'm a curly-haired writer from Traverse City, Mi, and this is my first post here.
I turned 40 in December and don't dye my hair. I'm getting some streaks that make my husband call me Rogue, which is kind of fun, and I'd like to embrace this natural look, but it's kinda crazy. I've never dyed my hair, and only experimented with highlights twice. Anyone else going anti-dye out there? How's it going?! (grin)

it's unfortunate that we are tucked away in over 40 forum. (i started going gray at 17.....) and most people, like yourself, don't think to look there for the gray hair threads. but that is where we are....

Thanks! I haven't been on a post board in ages and kinda forgot the etiquette of it. I just found answers to some questions I asked in the over-40 place, too. Oops again. (grin)

I've been going gray around the crown and temple area. My solution is to use a deposit-only dye in a lighter shade so they look like highlights. It's less damaging to the hair and bounces back after a dt.
