Default Just Hatched Bright Baby Shampoo?

I'm on the lookout for a low poo, but have yet to snag one. I saw the Just Hatched baby shampoo next to the Johnson's, at Walmart today, and I'm wondering if it would be a decent low poo choice. The bottle claims, "No yucky stuff inside. Sulfate /Paraben /Pthalate free". Other than protein and aloe, I didn't see anything that looked obviously iffy. It did look much better than the Johnson's, which I already know is a fairly harsh shampoo. Can I get some opinions?

Ingredients: Water, Decyl Glucoside, Coco-Glucoside, Cocoamidopropyl Betaine, Glyceryl Oleate, Glycerin, Fragrance, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Punica Granatum Extract, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Hydrolyzed Milk Protein, Avena Sativa (Oat) Protein Extract, Panthenol, Potassium Sorbate, Glyceryl Caprylate, Glyceryl Undecylenate.

Thanks!

Baby shampoos are usually harsh b/c they're designed to keep the eyes from stinging. The same PH that does this makes the shampoo harsh on the hair. I don't think the ingredients mentioned would make a difference. Parabens for ex are linked to cancer in some studies. They have nothing to do with harshness. They in fact are moisturizers. The top cleansers are pretty much the same in both. I have a bottle of J&J right here. One is just more money.

BTW: I don't tend to buy that "natural is better," that sulfates and parabens are a problem. It is more the increased greenhouse gases/free radicals in our air causing an uptake in cancer, not minimal amounts of chemicals in products that have been used for years.

I know I'm way late to this thread, but I personally love the stuff. It's super gentle and doesn't strip your hair. I'm pretty sure that it's the oat in it, but it also reduces the severe itching I get on my scalp from seborrheic dermatitis. It reduces the flakes and the inflammation, which I love. (Seborrheic dermatitis is also what causes cradle cap in babies, so that's probably why it works so well.)

keep in mind, since this is a sulfate free shampoo that does not clarify you should use it in conjunction with silicone-based conditioners and styling products. Your hair will feel gunky all the time until you stop. Alternatively, you could use a clarifier every couple of weeks depending on how much product you use.
