Plunking- questions

I have two questions regarding that method. My hair length right now is about 2 inches below my shoulder...is that too short to plunk?
My second question is that I have heard that you can plunk over night. My hair has medium thickness, so would I plunk it over night and then use a dryer to finish drying it or air dry my hair?
I've plopped with my hair at that length with no problems so you should be fine.

As for plopping overnight, all I can say is give it a try. I personally don't like to do that but that's just how my hair is.

Products I use:

Shampoo: Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Shampoo
Conditioner: Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Conditioner
DT: Matrix Biolage Hydratherapie Aqua-Immersion Creme Masque
Styling: Homemade FSG with Lavender EO & AVJ/water mist spray containing Epsom Salt, Lavender EO

Ok...sounds good...I am so exicited!

I just wasn't sure about the overnight...my concern with my thick hair that my hair would smell kind of sour the next day without proper hair drying...

A little diffusing can be helpful. I also like to use thicker oil sealing type products-Jane Carter Nourish Shine because my hair will sleep out the hold from gel. Idk, but my hair does it. Some people can plop overnight, some people cannot...

I was going to wait to do the plunking, but thanks to the power outage and no power I plunked this morning and my hair turned out perfect!!!! I have Shirley Temple curls!!!!

I am going to definately try overnight plunking now.

I was plunking my hair when it was two or three inches long, so I have a hard time imagining hair which is too short to plunk. If you're using the right technique, scrunching your hair with gel in it while upside down, then lowering your head onto the plunking towel/T-shirt, the curls should stay scrunched as you do it.
