Default Knots

I know this is a silly question, but I hear a lot about microtwists, bantu knots, flat twists, etc. and it always seems like kinky curlies are the ones who do these hairstyles. Can these hairstyles be done in 2c/3a soft curls as well?

I tried them and they didn't work well for me 😞. Just a whole lot of big frizzy
